We got our first snowfall of the season a few days into Jan. So far nothing else has fallen and it's been an unseasonable warm month (daytime highs in the low 50's), so the kids ran out to play as soon as they saw the first few flakes. Couldn't even get them to get get dressed. They just put their jackets on over their pj's.
This is when it first started sticking. We ended up getting around 3 inches in a few hours. Not sure if I've ever seen flakes that big! It was all gone by the following afternoon, and ofcourse it surprised all the weather forcasters.
Hayden went and played on the swing set, before giving up and being too cold. 
Kaylyn just stood on the porch the entire time and tried to make snowballs. They both finally gave up because they were way too cold.
