Fun in the Sun

A day in the sun. In between doing our errands, my mom and I took the kids to the hospital where there is a beautiful seating area with waterfalls. We grabbed Burgerking and ate a picnic lunch and relaxed in the warm weather.

Beach Bums

Today we spent the day in Lincoln City. It was such a beautiful day (besides a little wind)

and Geoff's day off that we decided we needed to take some family time, so we had

Hayden play hooky from school and drove to the coast. We played at the beach, went to

the outlet mall and spent some much needed time just the 5 of us. So many

wonderful memories!

Brynley 3 months

Brynley is almost 3 months. I'm not sure where the time has gone. It seems only yesterday I was posting updates on my pregnancy (which always takes longer than after they're born.) She's such a good baby. For the past month she's gotten into a bedtime routine of going to bed the same time as the other kids do, between 8 and 9pm, and then only waking up once to eat usually around 4am, she's slept thru the night twice. It'll be time before long to put her in her own room, but I'm loving having her with us. I can already tell she'll be spoiled and babied more than the other two where. She's becoming quite the little chunk with her 'thunder thighs' as daddy calls them, but atleast she's a good eater and healthy!

Mothers Day 2009

Since Geoff had to work we celebrated Mothers Day the day before and they surprised me with a digital picture frame, balloon, cards and Hayden made me crafts at school. It was such a surprise. The last few years Geoff has bought them the cards from Hallmark that they can record their voices on. I love them and it's great to hear their little voices. He's going to try to buy one every year, so I can have their voices recorded to hear them change as they older. I so love being a Mommy! It's the most rewarding job I can do.

10th Anniversary!

I'd almost forgotten about our 10 year Anniversary tomorrow, until Geoff surprised me with this beautiful bouqet of flowers. He put them on the front porch, rang the bell and ran off. He had parked the car in the neighbors driveway because he wanted to see my 'surprised' reaction. So here's a picture of the beautiful purple (my fav. color) flowers.

I decided in honor of our anniversary I should post some pictures of us from years ago and some recent.

I look back on the last 10 years and how quickly they've past and how much our lives have changed with such happy memories. Thank you to all of you for contributing to our lives together. I hope the next ten will be just as great.

Brynley's Blessing Day

Baby girl Brynley was blessed today and we were lucky enough to have all of our family and friends in attendence. The weather was supposted to be rainy and yucky, but we had a beautiful spring day. We came back to our house afterward for a delicious brunch of scrambled eggs and ham, cinammon rolls, fruit, sausage and orange juice. It was so nice to be able to visit with family and friends on Brynley's special day.

Our extended + the immediate family outside the church building. Great Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and friends were all there. In the circle to bless her was Geoff, Carroll (Papa), Uncle Kelly, Great Grandpa Draper, Scott (friend and neighbor from our ward) and Deny Denfield (1st Counselor).

Mindy and Jenn came to our house afterwards to visit and help us celebrate.



She got to wear her big Sisters blessing gown and I made her hair bow. She looked beautiful in it. She got a little fussy during the blessing but it was a beautiful blessing. I'm so thankful that not only can my daughter be welcomed into our church, but that I have a husband worthy to bless her. Thanks to everyone who came to help us celebrate. We love you all.

Oh and just a side note. Hayden stood up and bore his testimony for the first time today and everyone was there to hear it. It was great!

Brynley's 2 month check-up

We took Brynley to her 2 month doctors appointment. The doctor was very impressed with how great she's doing and how alert she is. She weighs 10 lbs 12 oz. and is 22 1/4 inches long. She's growing very well and is VERY Healthy. We're so blessed to have her in our lives.
