New Scentsy Consultant
I have recently decided to take on a new challenge in life :0) I've signed up to become a Scentsy consultant. I hosted my first party last week and really enjoyed it, I had fun being away from home with adult woman socializing, while making a little extra money. I already have two more parties lined up for Sept., one for Oct. and two for Nov., so I'm very excited. I have always wanted to try something like this, but I've always had the excuse of not wanting to get caught up in it when I would be getting pregnant again soon, but no more excuses now. I wanted to get behind a company of a product I'd like to sell and own myself. I love these candles and their scents. I put up a basic explanation of what Scentsy is in the picture below. Wish me luck in my new adventure!

Jaws, Paws and Claws
Every year since I was born I've spent the day at the fair with my Mom, as kids have come along they had joined in on the tradition. When I say day...I mean DAY. We go from morning till the ride lights come on at night. This year was a 10 hour day. We see, do and eat (I gained 3 lbs) everything. We look forward to it all year. This years fair theme was Jaws, Paws and Claws. There was a building full of animals and sharks. They had a full grown lion, tiger, eagle, owl and sharks (in large tanks). Hayden has always been interested in animals, so he was in heaven. The kids wanted to ride the ponnies and then go to the petting zoo, we ate lunch there and also shared a carmel apple, elephant ear and snow cones. The weather was a perfect 70 degrees. As we were leaving the kids kept asking when we get to return and we had to keep explaining that the fair only comes around once a year, but every year we'll be there. Till next year......
In line waiting to ride the ponnies. Hayden rode Dr. Pepper and Kaylyn rode Cowboy. She then got upset when we walked back past and someone else was riding Cowboy. She informed Grandma that he was her horse!
The kids inside the shark diving cage at the exhibit. We watched the diver jump into the tank with the lemon and nurse sharks and 'play' with them. Hayden was all amazed.
Hayden at the petting zoo. He wasn't affraid of any of the animals.
Kaylyn on the other hand was scared of this goat. He was trying to climb out of his enclosure at her. I think he fell in LOVE!
Brynley had a great first trip to the fair. She was such a happy girl all day. People walking past kept stopping me and telling how they've never seen a baby so young, smile so big. Here she is looking at the baby chicks, only 2 days old.

Jordans Wedding
My cousin Jordan recently got married in Idaho and had an Open House reception here in WA. Here are some photos from the open house. It was fun to meet his new bride and visit with family. The kids had a great time playing with their cousins.
Jason, Mariah (cousin), Jordan (cousin) and Anneli. My aunt's in the background.
This is Jordan showing Geoff how his wedding ring will not scratch when ground against cement. Geoff was just being cute and posing.
The Newlyweds somehow lucked out and got seats at the table with all the kiddos. Can you see the family resemblence between Kaylyn and her cousin Merritt??

It's Getting HOT HOT HOT!!
We recently had 9 days of over 90 degree heat and 3 of those days were 100+ temps. Very hot, so even though we have A/C ,I wanted to take kids out to enjoy some of it. (You can only keep kids locked inside during summer for so long:) Geoff wanted to stay home and enjoy the cool, so I told the kids to get their swim suits on and we would go. Not sure if Geoff felt guilty or if he changed his mind, but he came and we all had a great time at Lewisville River. We got there around 11am, found a nice beach area and played until 1pm, when finally we gave up to go home.
Brynley like how the cool water felt on her toes. The poor little dear feel asleep so I laid her in her stroller to nap and when she woke up she had sweat dripping from her all down in her eyes. I was worried she'd get heatstroke if we stayed out there too much longer.
